The Markup is Only Temporary

The President and CEO of Sky Solar Holding Co., Ltd, Mr. Su Weili, said that the temporary markup of polysilicon will not influence the end demand. As modules are the easiest parts to expand, once the electrical price drops down, the price of polysilicon COA will be higher than the stock-in-trade. The competition between large companies creates an oversupply trend in the industry.

Currently, the unsymmetrical supply-demand relationship between the explosion of Chinese PV manufacturers and the global PV market is getting worse. Sky Solar is a PV “service provider” that focuses on the development of terminal PV power stations instead of conventional manufacturers. As Mr. Su said, modules are just a part of the whole system, and Sky Solar is focusing on improving the power system for greater efficiency, offering good design and management experience.
