Solar Cell Supply
February 24, 2011 No CommentsAccording to surveys, manufacturers are still observing the demand in the solar cell market. The contract price only raised 1% in February, but it will keep rising from 3% to 7% in March.
In February, the average price of polysilicon was US$75 per kilogram, which increased by 5.81% compared to last month. The spot price of polysilicon cell was 1.25 per watt and the highest purchasing price was US$1.27. The highest price of single crystal silicon cell was US$1.32. The price of a silicon module was also increased. The spot price was US$1.63 and purchasing price was US$1.67. For a silicon wafer, the purchasing price was US$3.50. The average price of polysilicon wafers increased by 1.3%, single crystal silicon wafers increased by 1.05%.
In terms of silicon film, the average price showed a downward drift trend. The purchasing price was US$1.28. On the part of the PV inverter, the supply and demand are normal, quotation remained unchanged.
