EV Coming to Haikou

The chief of Science Technology & Information Industry Bureau, Zhu Donghai said, “Ten electronic Primals will be on road on February 16, and hundreds of electronic buses will be put into service at the end of March”.

According to the plan, 1050 new energy vehicles, including electronic cars, hybrid cars, electronic buses, hybrid buses and so on, will be put in Haikou within next three years. All these vehicles will be used in public transportation, public affairs, texts, car dealerships, tourism and public services.

Zhu said that more than 200 charging piles, four charging stations and other infrastructures will be built by Hainan Electronic Network within three years.

The first round of 36 million yuan of central government subsidy has been given out, and there will be about 100 million yuan of the government subsidy for the EV industry in Haikou within the next three years.
